Hope, the last refuge of the disappointed when reality falls short of expectations. What happens to the person whose world is not yet ready to receive them? Hope Expectation And Disappointment (HEAD) is a monologue where an all-too-aware character may well be the genius they say they are. Or just another example of vaulting ambition undone by the destructive element of character. Perhaps the future had different plans anyway. Who’s to say?
